it was a good day.

on the first day of 2008, i:
• played wii for the first time ever, complete with grouchy-ass-lookin’ mii.
• slept in. way in. like 11 a.m. in which is really still 2 p.m. in to me since i concievably should be on EST still.
• rode an old-time carousel.
• stuck my feet in the freezing cold pacific, then walked along the beach.
• saw a good friend’s book right in the front of a borders.
• bought a bunch of books.
• spent lots of quality time with another good friend.
• ate and drank well, although in a “tasty” way more than a “good for me” way. (ah well.)
• read and read and read.
yeah, i’m pretty happy with today. let’s see what will come next. i don’t want to jinx it, but i do feel pretty good.
