or just look like one.

here is my question for you: if you could subscribe to one trade magazine, which one would it be? last week, when joe and i were waiting for a table at fatty’s, i unearthed a copy of bartender magazine and i was pretty fascinated by its games-esque fake ads for real products and reader-contributed cocktail ideas (although this one sounds like it would resemble pepto-bismol just a little too much to be fun). okay, maybe this indicates that i have some sort of problem, but on the other hand, it’s only 30 bucks, so maybe i’ll subscribe; i haven’t used my cocktail shaker too much lately. this article pretty much sums up why convenience store news would be my no. 2 trade magazine choice. and the space food sticks are made in port washington, to boot! maybe i can get a factory tour the next time i come out to long island?

Ahhh bartender magazine. They sent me a whole bunch of free passes to a bar convention once, it was great (Thank Ryan of Ryan’s Tavern!). Nothing like walking around Jacob Javits center getting free ‘tastes’ of beer, liquor and wine.
