10:32:00 p.m. Jewel compares the “overnight sensation” press that one of the finalists is getting to the press that she got at age 21, when she had a big hit, which was a “crazy time.” But, she is quick to remind everyone, she has been performing since she was eight! And we are supposed to be impressed. Who is she interviewing again? Is this guy in the gold blazer supposed to be interviewing her? It seems that way, since she can’t stop talking about herself.
10:33:00 p.m. Cowboy Troy says that Jewel is going to wow the crowd by performing “one of her mega-hits.”
10:33:30 p.m. I switch to a Law & Order rerun that’s stored on my TiVo.
