tonight, on the r train, guy who was clearly trying to impress the girl he was addressing: “you’re totally one of those types of chicks who’s going to marry a rich guy, and say to him, oh, carry me, please. and–wait a second–kick those homeless people over there while you’re walking.” it was the last sentence that made me crack up uncontrollably, and the guy apologized! which you should never do when you provide laughs to a tired commuter, even if she is traveling from an office that’s about 20 feet from her bed.
