today’s completely amazing myspace surprise: tracey thorn covers my favorite magnetic fields song. (and she does a pretty version of “the book of love,” too.)

also, this video is absolutely lovely.

have i mentioned how ‘out of the woods’ gets better with each listen, even though i’ve somehow been able to spin it scores of times in between listens to blog bands? probably, but it’s worth mentioning again.
