venue: whiskey ward (whoa, nice low dodgeball venue number there!), new york, ny.
jukebox type: your basic wall-mount cd jukebox (i couldn’t quite find the brand, thanks in part to the wine i’d had at dinner).
number of songs played: 7.
songs: runaways, “cherry bomb”; siouxsie and the banshees, “love in a void”; pixies, “debaser”; aerosmith, “big ten-inch record”; the cure, “let’s go to bed”; interpol, “slow hands”; toots and the maytals, “sweet and dandy.’
total money spent: $3.
personal favorite: well it would have been “cherry bomb” except for the bartenders who cut it off, so i’ll have to go with siouxsie.
crowd favorite: it has to be “debaser,” if only because of the fact that it was a shout-out to the birthday girl.

That bar used to be the noise dude Monday hangout. Bartender would just play CDRs we brought in!

Bonus feature: Whoa! 5 of 7 song titles would make GREAT conversation candy hearts! Many more of these posts and we’ll be approaching NECCO for a licensing agreement.
