settling in.

i have a new neighborhood. the limited time i’ve spent in it is making me think that it’s going to be pretty fun to live in, if even worse for my diet than my now-expired easy access to my favorite fancy grilled cheese sandwich. there’s a brazilian buffet on the corner, and within spitting distance we have a tapas restaurant, a bagel place, two bakeries, and my favorite mixologist in the whole borough of queens.
also there is a vet just down the street, which is nice since i really, really want to get a dog. because i have a backyard! when did i move to the suburbs? actually, the subway rumbling by every 10 minutes should tell me that i am currently living anywhere but.
